Unveiling the Lazzara Limited Edition LSX 67

DATE POSTED:October 17, 2024
Lazzara LSX 67 The Lazzara LSX 67 expands the builder’s sport-express series. With optional twin Volvo Penta IPS1350 diesels, the LSX 67 reaches a reported top speed of 33 knots and has a cruising speed of 28 knots. Courtesy Lazzara Yachts

The LSX 67 joins the LSX 85 in the lineup of sport express models.

Lazzara Yachts has introduced a Limited Edition LSX 67 into its sport-express series, which also includes the flagship LSX 85 model.

The LSX 67 has a full-beam master stateroom with direct access to an aft deck relaxation area and beach club. According to the builder, that makes this yacht the only one in its class with this type of arrangement. From the master, there are uninterrupted views to port, starboard and aft, where there is a full-beam sliding glass door.

Out at the beach club, the LSX 67 has fold-down balconies to port and starboard, adding to the real estate for water sports and relaxation. Seating here is designed for entertaining, just a few steps down from the main deck and the side decks that lead to the bow’s sun pad. (With polished stainless steel and teak railings lining those side decks for safety in style.)

On the main deck, exterior seating spans the yacht’s 16-foot beam with a table and grill for meals out in the fresh air. Through sliding glass doors is the salon, with the helm forward. A hardtop protects the space, and a retractable sunroof opens for fresh air.

Down below, there’s another seating area and a galley. The VIP stateroom is in the bow, with an ensuite, twin-berth guest stateroom aft. To port is a stateroom that can accommodate an additional guest or serve as a crew cabin.

With optional twin Volvo Penta IPS1350s, the LSX 67 has an estimated 33-knot top speed and a cruising speed of 28 knots, according to the builder.

Draft is 5 feet, making the LSX 67 a good candidate for coastal cruising and island-hopping in skinnier waters such as the Bahamas.

How many series does Lazzara Yachts offer? Five. They are called Express (LSX), Sport (LSY), Motor (LMY), High Volume (UHV) and Catamaran (LPC). Plans are for the UHV 100 to launch in February 2025, showing off the builder’s use of aerospace-inspired, epoxy-reinforced e-glass for the hull construction. According to the shipyard, similar composites have become increasingly popular in commercial aircraft such as the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Lazzara says that with this material, a yacht has a longer-lasting structure for significantly reduced maintenance costs, reduced likelihood of delamination, and a near-lifetime guarantee against structural changes—all while keeping weight down in a way that should enhance performance out on the waterways.
