Outer Reef Yachts has Insignia, an Outer Reef 860 DBMY, listed for sale with an asking price of $5.95 million. The 2017 Deluxe Bridge Motor Yacht is a vessel with a serious, long-range-cruising pedigree.
The layout includes three staterooms for owners and guests as well room for three crew.

Guests will instantly sense warmth and volume walking into the 86-footer’s salon with its smartly-placed furniture, cherrywood finishes and waist-to-ceiling windows running the length of the salon. A three-person bar is immediately to port, with a coffee table and L-shaped sofa forward, and a lounge chair to starboard.

The galley is equipped with KitchenAid refrigerator, Miele dishwasher with stainless interior, a Bosch oven, cooktop and microwave, Insinkerator garbage disposal with switch, GE Monogram trash compactor and a U-Line wine cooler. There is also has a six-person dinette forward.
All three staterooms are belowdecks, with cherrywood paneling and en suite heads and granite countertops. The full-beam (16’9″) master stateroom amidships has a centerline king berth, a 46-inch flat-screen TV, two cedar-lined walk-in closets and hand-scraped walnut sole. The forepeak VIP stateroom has a queen berth and a 29-inch flat-screen TV. The third guest stateroom has twin berths and a 24-inch flat-screen TV.

The after section of the flybridge provides alfresco dining for six with a table and chairs. The area also serves as the tender stowage for a 15-foot 2017 Walker Bay Generation 450 tender. The yacht tender has a 75 Evinrude Etec outboard, VHF radio with AIS system, Garmin 741XS, Airmar P319 transducer and Polk stereo with Sirius XM.
Heading down into the cockpit, there is a shaded alfresco dining space for six with the transom bench seat, fixed table and loose chairs. When it’s time to enjoy cocktails at sunset, the foredeck has three bench seats with two in the bowrider position and one facing forward.
Even with the sizable 1,600 hp Caterpillar C-32 diesels in the engine room, there is unimpeded walkaround room and the ability to access the mains and all other systems when required. According to Outer Reef Yachts, the hardtop over the skylounge is designed with a fold-down mast and removable satellite domes, which reduces its air draft to 20-feet 6-inches, allowing it to cruise through the Erie Barge Canal. The yacht’s six-foot draft makes it an effective Bahamas cruiser too.
