Azimut Yacht’s 62 Evolution is a sporty and chic flybridge cruiser that has a powerful combination of entertainment spaces, inside and outside. Worth Avenue Yachts currently has Alana Rose, a 2007 Azimut 62 Evolution, listed for $680,000.

This Azimut 62E has a number of recent upgrades and updates, including:

• New Garmin autopilot

Stairs to starboard lead from the teak swim platform to the yacht’s cockpit, which has a transom bench seat and a fixed table. Add up to four loose chairs to fit six guests for shaded alfresco dining. Entertainment amenities include a Fusion bluetooth stereo with JL Audio speakers.

Stepping through the cockpit’s sliding glass doors, guests are greeted by the salon’s lounge area with a U-shaped sofa and coffee table. The formal dining is to starboard, forward and up two steps. The galley is conveniently located to port.

The amidships galley has a U-shaped Granulin countertops and is equipped with a number of meal-prep appliances, including:

• Avanti Energy Star refrigerator with freezer

• Four-burner Schott Ceran range

The foredeck is set up with a two- to three-person sun pad, making it a great spot to catch some rays after a morning swim. Heading up to the flybridge, there is a second alfresco dining spot and a second lounge pad, with a dinette and lounge pad-sofa to starboard. Extending the Bimini top shades most of the flybridge seating as well as the helm station.

After a long day on the water, three staterooms for six await belowdecks. The master stateroom is amidships with an athwartships queen island berth, an en suite head and a flat-screen TV. The forepeak VIP has a tapered, queen berth, an en suite head, stain-finished cherry cabinetry and a flat-screen TV. The final guest stateroom is to starboard with two single berths and a flat-screen TV. The day head is accessed through the companionway.

Twin 1,015 hp Caterpillar C18 diesels give Alana Rose a reported 33-knot top hop and a 30-knot cruise speed.
