Antares, a 2008 Westport 130, accommodates 10 guests in five staterooms, plus five in three crew cabins. Previously chartered for $120,000 per week during the winter months, Antares has been well maintained and upgraded over the past few years. Allied Marine has put Antares on the market for $11.89M.
Speaking of the Westport 130, which was first introduced in 2000, “Her naval architect is Bill Garden, whose portfolio is bulging with both sailboats and powercraft of considerable renown. Her hull form is an especially efficient one. The narrow angle of her bow cuts the water cleanly with a noticeable lack of fuss, and her wake is as minimal as possible given her size and displacement. It’s something Garden honed to perfection on years of sailing-hull designs and brings to his motoryacht designs with aplomb. The fine lines forward mean the crew quarters are pushed aft a bit farther than normal, putting the guest accommodations near the yacht’s center of pitch for added guest comfort,” Yachting previously reported.
Antares is powered by twin MTU 12V 4000 M90 diesel engines, delivering approximately 5,470 horsepower. These engines allow the yacht to cruise comfortably at around 20 knots with a top speed of 24 knots. Range is just over 3,000 nautical miles at a 12-knot cruising speed.
Allied Marine stated that “Antares has the look and feel of a brand new yacht.”

Antares’ cockpit provides a place for guests to relax in the shade while still enjoying the ocean breezes, thanks in part to the extended aft deck above. The cockpit has a built-in transom bench-style settee, ottoman, wet bar with granite countertop, built-in stowage for glassware, an ice machine and a Sub-Zero refrigerator drawer and a teak dinette with 10 Tucci dining chairs. It’s a great setup for alfresco dining.
The foredeck has a cozy C-shape settee for a quiet getaway at the quay, while a set of stairs on centerline leads up to the sky lounge.
The salon is accessed via a stainless-steel sliding glass door from the cockpit. The interior, from Pacific Custom Interiors, has richly toned mahogany complemented by marble accents. Large windows bring in natural light and create ocean vistas. Locking open the sliding glass door seamlessly connects the salon to the formal dining area for eight guests and the cockpit. Guests can relax on an L-shaped sofa with a cocktail table or a few chairs.
The galley is forward of the dinette and is equipped with the following accessories:
A set of interior stairs in the salon lead to the sky lounge. The lounge has a well-appointed bar with two leather high-top bar stools, perfect for cpre-dinner beverages or watching the sunset. An L-shaped settee, paired with a leather-top table, creates a comfortable seating area, ideal for conversation or enjoying a movie on the built-in 50-inch TV. A table with two chairs offers a more intimate setting for games or quiet conversation. The sky lounge was recently updated with a new ice maker. The space also includes a day head.
The pilothouse has a raised semicircular seating area, allowing guests to enjoy the view while cruising. The helm station is equipped with leather-covered dash panels and a wood destroyer ship’s wheel, combining functionality with a classic nautical aesthetic. Recent upgrades include new Stidd captain’s chairs and electronics. The Intelisea vessel-monitoring system provides comprehensive oversight of the yacht’s operations. A captain’s office with a communications center ensures smooth management of the vessel.
Electronics and Navigation Systems:
Antares’ sun deck, aft the sky lounge, has a wet bar with four stools, all protected by a custom hardtop. Two built-in seating areas forward, each with beautiful tables, provide space for dining or lounging. The sun deck is complete with adjustable chaise longues and a hot tub.
The flybridge has a custom hardtop and an isinglass enclosure provides protection from the elements with the helm forward. Two built-in curved seating areas to port and starboard have Corian tables with double stainless-steel bases. There is also a bar with a Whirlpool ice maker and four bar stools, ensuring refreshments are always close at hand. A sunning area with upholstered, adjustable chaise lounges offers another spot for catching rays.
Five staterooms accommodate 10 guests for a good night’s rest. The main-deck master stateroom has a centerline king-size berth with an upholstered headboard. En suite details include custom marble vanities, marble tile sole and a marble hot tub. A glass-enclosed marble shower and custom fixtures further enhance the luxe feel. Below decks, four additional guest staterooms include two VIP staterooms with king-sized berths, while two more guest staterooms have twin-sized berths. The starboard twin converts to a queen. Each stateroom has an en suite head with an enclosed shower. All rooms have been outfitted with new AV systems, including iPad-enabled Crestron entertainment, ensuring guests have access to top-of-the-line comfort and technology.
