Sailing yacht PROJECT 408 AQUARIUS II from Royal Huisman is moved for outfitting and testing

Royal Huisman have announced that 65m (212’) sailing yacht PROJECT 408 AQUARIUS II has been moved from the construction hall ready for outfitting and extensive testing. The performance ketch is the successor to the first sailing yacht AQUARIUS built in 2018 for experienced owners, who are now looking forward to the delivery of their more impressive vessel.

The yacht has been built to the same exacting standards as her sister yacht by the same team; including Dykstra Naval Architects, interior designer Mark Whitely who both collaborated with Royal Huisman to build a yacht with an additional 45% volume. The result is a yacht which combines timeless style with state-of-the-art technology and outstanding craftsmanship.

Following transport to Amsterdam, sailing yacht PROJECT AQUARIUS II will be prepared for the final stages of the project: launch, stepping of the carbon Rondal masts and booms, a series of sea trials, and her delivery.
