“Pre-dawn rain faded as the sun split the horizon in Cannes, France. The late summer’s bright light reflected off the Riva 66’ Ribelle’s sapphire-blue hull, illuminating the deep hue at quayside,” Yachting previously wrote. “It was an ocean blue, the kind of color I only see when I’m cruising offshore, where the fathom depths have commas. It was opulent. And it set the stage for all that followed on this sporty cruiser built in Sarnico, Italy. The 66’s lines, inspired by the builder’s 76’ Perseo, have movement. The yacht seems to run while sitting still.”

Allied Marine currently has Knot Normal, a 2020 Riva 66 Ribelle, listed for $2.7 million. The 66-foot flybridge cruiser is the 6th hull of Riva’s 66 Ribelle and a vessel Allied Marine says is “Lightly used and mostly day cruised… [and] built for the US market.”

Stepping into the salon guests will notice the carpeted sole under their feet, the high-gloss lacquered joinery and volume-enhancing windows to port and starboard. An L-shaped settee and folding table are to starboard with an entertainment center to port.

The galley on Knot Normal is belowdecks to starboard with an L-shaped corian countertop. Appliances include a refrigerator, a dishwasher, an extractor hood, an induction cooking top and an oven.

Exterior entertainment spaces onboard the 66 Ribelle are prominent with three sun pads in various locations. The foredeck has a lounge pad forward while the cockpit has a transom sun pad aft.

Up a level, the sun deck also has a sun pad aft along with additional bench seating to either side of the helm station. On the main deck aft, an L-shaped dinette backs up to the superstructure to starboard offering alfresco dining for everyone onboard.

After a fun day on the water is over, owners and guests can retire to one of three staterooms belowdecks. The 66 Ribelle’s en suite master stateroom sits amidships with hullside windows flanking the centerline berth and bathing the room in natural light. The forepeak VIP stateroom has a centerline berth with an en suite head. The final guest cabin is to port, adjacent to the galley, and has twin side-by-side berths and an en suite head.

Knot Normal is equipped with the same twin 1,550 hp MAN diesels Yachting’s test yacht had, which saw a nearly 37-knot top hop and a 32-knot cruise speed. It’s worth noting the engines have just 325 hours on them.

Some other notable features on board Knot Normal include:

  • AIS
  • Starlink
  • FLIR Camera
  • Underwater lights
  • Williams 345 tender
  • Bow and stern thrusters
  • Washer and dryer
  • Seakeeper stabilizer

Where is Knot Normal located? The yacht is currently lying in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
