Introducing the Williams SportJet 520

Williams’ SportJet 520 is powered by a 230 hp BRP Rotax engine and a water-jet propulsion system that yields a reported top speed just shy of 49 knots. A power-limiter switch allows boaters to learn the ropes safely with this high-performance steed, and the RIB’s jet drive eliminates a spinning propeller. The SportJet 520’s bow deflates to fit inside yacht garages with limited space, while an optional bow-tube inflation system quickly restores pressure when needed. A rotating backrest increases space for aft-facing passengers and bolsters the sun pad’s acreage, while a removable ski pole facilitates watersports.

Whom It’s For: Owners seeking speed, safety and ear-to-ear grins, as well as seating for seven.

Picture This: It’s a warm, early autumn day on the Chesapeake Bay, and the junior-size crew wants to go water-skiing. Your main ride is berthed at the Annapolis Yacht Basin Marina, so you load up your Williams SportJet 520 and cruise over to the Severn River’s controlled water-ski course for some afternoon fun.
