The Hinckley 41 Goes Big on Outboard Power

Hinckley Yachts is putting some serious outboard muscle behind its latest model. The new Hinckley 41 pairs triple Mercury Verado outboards with a top speed of 46 knots, while its design makes room for the toys and gear that come with spending a full day on the water.

Designed in collaboration with Zurn Yacht Design, the 41 is a progression of the design work that produced the Hinckley Picnic Boat 39, introduced in 2025. For this model, the team worked the triple-outboard installation into the yacht’s profile, preserving Hinckley’s familiar refined lines while taking advantage of the flexibility that outboard power provides.

The result is a boat aimed squarely at performance-minded boaters who don’t want to give up comfort or usable space. Zurn says the design balances speed and handling with spacious accommodations and a robust hull structure, while the expansive areas belowdecks provide room for water toys and other gear.

The 41 is already showing signs of a strong reception, with more than six units sold before Hull No. 1 hit the water. It joins the Hinckley lineup as a distinctly modern take on the builder’s performance-oriented cruising formula.
