Extra Yachts has introduced the X145 Global, a 44-meter explorer, a long-distance cruising yacht with a mix of innovation, elegance and robust functionality.
Building on the brand’s philosophy of volume and personalization, the X145 Global is built with a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure, styled by Studio Agon, giving it both seafaring toughness and refined visual appeal. A high vertical bow and clean lines emphasize its explorer profile. With a beam of 9.1 meters and under 500 gross tons, the yacht spans five decks while maintaining well-proportioned living areas.
The X145 Global balances efficiency and endurance, with a range of 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots thanks in part to its dual-mode hull design. This makes it suitable for long-range voyages, whether from San Diego to Southeast Alaska or across the Pacific from Panama to the Marquesas.
The interior arrangement takes an unconventional approach. All five guest staterooms are located on the main deck, maximizing space, natural light and sea views. The owner’s suite sits on the bridge deck, complete with a private terrace, offering a rare and elevated vantage point. Interiors by Hot Lab blend organic forms with subtle Oriental influences, enhanced by floor-to-ceiling glazing.
Social areas are equally well considered. The upper deck lounge offers a 360-degree view, connecting an aft lounge and forward dining area with a sculptural central staircase. At the waterline, the 80-square-meter beach club unfolds with fold-down platforms, free-standing furniture and day-head facilities.
A large aft garage carries an 8.5-meter tender, a rescue boat, two jet skis, and additional water toys. Crew areas are located on the lower deck, with four double cabins and a professional galley. An optional gym can also be installed near the engine spaces.
With the X145 Global, Extra Yachts enters the 40- to 45-meter explorer segment, offering extended-range capability with a refined design sensibility.
