2024 CROYA Charter Yacht Show: Chef and Table-Scaping competition winners announced

The Croatian Yachting Association (CROYA) charter yacht show took place last week with a collection of fabulous yachts from around the world lining up in the beautiful port city of Split.

The inaugural show was a great success with guests being offered a taste of the Croatian yachting industry with a spotlight on the country’s multitude of cruising destinations, anchorages and attractions. As well as welcoming brokers and other visitors on board the yachts, the crews were busy preparing for the exciting chef and table-scaping competitions.

The competitions were fierce with Chefs being asked to showcase an innovative approach to Croatian cuisine. The judges, led by Mike Jennings, were delighted to announce the winner as MATEO RAC, the head chef from CharterWorld’s CA motor yacht ANNABEL II. As an accomplished chef with over ten years of experience in kitchens worldwide, he has been delighting charter guests this season on ANNABEL II with his contemporary take on classic Croatian dishes.  We are thrilled for Mateo on this amazing award.

Meanwhile, the table-scaping competition, where crews demonstrate their highly creative decorating skills, was won by the stewardesses team from luxury motor sailor SCORPIOS. CharterWorld is proud to co-CA luxury yacht SCORPIOS with our Croatian partners Otium Yachts.
